Hey all,As most of you know,I had to put my great aunt in the hospital last week, and after extensive testing,my worst fears have came true. She has lung cancer, and it is already in its advanced, and final stage. They found several large tumors in both her lungs, and a medium size tumor on her liver. At her age (be 90 in january),and as weak and fragile as she is already, she cannot go through the chemotherapy. So,as of tomorrow, she will be placed in a highly reccomended nursing home, and hospice will be there as well. I'm asking everyone to please keep praying,as God works miracles, but he will do what is best for her. Thank you all for your support and prayers!

Thanks man,I appreciate that more than you know. I am just glad that she was able to enjoy such a long life. I hope that I make it that far in half the good health that she did,she went downhill only recently, but cancer is a silent killer, but God has a plan for all of us,and this is a part of it. But again, thanks for your support!

No thanks needed Joe. Unfortunately, I lost two of my grandparents to cancer, and my best friends mom (which was like my second mother).

This is sad news for you and your family, and I hope that God will keep you all in his grace. Death is a part of life, and though we never want it to come to our loved ones, we cannot stop it. Prepare yourself as best as you can, and hope that she doesn't suffer. That is the worst part about situations such as this. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I greatly appreciate all your prayers and support! We got her settled into Easley Living center today, she seems to like it there,so hopefully she will be comfortable. I'm sure its a great place, heard alot about it,I just don't like nursing homes. I WILL be keeping a close eye on things there, lol. Thanks again everyone!

Well, after a long, hard fought battle,She passed away March 2nd. I look at this as a blessing to her,as there will be no more pain and suffering for her,and she is in heaven walking in the hand of God with a new, perfect body smiling down on us as we go through life in this world. Now it is time to move past this, and move forward,as no one is guaranteed the next second of life,so live every second like it is your last,as if it were a gift from God,because that is exactly what it is! God Bless you all for being there!
