I'm looking into doing a five lug swap on my 89 Notch and i've got everything i need brakes wise but i was just wondering if i'm going to have to change out the Master Cylinder and Brake booster when i swap?

Most do and some dont. All the ones I have had I kept my stock stuff but you will have better brakes with a different MC

That's what i was thinking...i'll have to look into getting another one but not right now. Ha, LOW :thumbsdown1: on funds :yes1:
the stock stuff will get you by for now. what brakes are you running on the front?
do you like a firm or soft pedal? the rear brakes will not be fully utilized untill you change master cylinders. upgrading to a 93 cobra or 94/95 booster isnt a bad idea either.

im running all SN- stuff up front an "pretty much" stock drums in rear... still running the factory booster & mc " the very last thing on my car that IS stock... :lol1:
but yea...........im sure it would be better with the newer stuff. :thumbsup1:
my OPP.?
if your tight on the $...run the stock booster an mc till you got the $ to upgrade. :thumbsup1:

That's what i'm going to do for now because the funds in the wallet were hit hard with this project with so many unexpected twists :yes1:
