Please list up your Good Experiences with Body shops...

If you have had a Positive experience with a body shop please post up and let us know, I know a lot of people end up pretty much guessing to find a good dependable Paint and Body person and it would be helpful if we new of some shops that do Great work in a timely manner... Thanks for any info....

I'd be happy to give recommendation, but is probably a tad bit south of where you guys are looking.

Fred Nicholas at Harper's Paint & Body in Orlando, FL. The guy knows his stuff and has a particular affinity for Fox Mustangs. One of his customers' Mustangs (a '92 red/white interior 'vert) won second place out of 350 Mustangs at a show here in Orlando. Great guy, honest, loves his work and it shows. My car is proof. :thumbsup1:

Yeah orlando is about 10 hours from here but that is good info for other folks in Fl.

-Joel Maddox in Piedmont does fantastic work, but sometimes he can be a bit slow due to having so much work....

I am trying to find someone who can turn one around in a timely manner and lay some slick paint.... I am thinking about calling Greg Porter up but I know I will have more in the paint than I have in the whole freakin' car probably, but you get what you pay for in that case....

I gotta give a :thumbsup1: to 1wildcoupe. He is my cousin and and does some great work. He takes pride in what he does and makes sure it's right before it leaves. I've seen a lot of good looking Mustangs roll out of his shop. He's not just Mustang specific either. He's painted about anything you can think of. The name of his shop is Glover's Automotive. Give him a shout if you up around the Denton, NC area and need some work done.

I sell paint and bodyshop supplies for a livin in anderson sc and i deal with alot of shops, Kelly Collision is an excelent shop in anderson that will do repairs or an all over paint job, he is a real good painter, also custom collision in anderson sc is a good shop but he mostly does repairs but both shops i would recommend to anybody!

KB we have some terrible luck with painters, thats why I thought it would be a good idea to start up a recommendation list... I aint gonna bash anyone but at least if people see a shop on the GOOD list they know that someone has had good luck with them...

-WickedBowties What kinda price range do you normally get for an all over on say a lx coupe paint code YF doesn't need any body work but the trim and moldings have to be painted matte black.... and how long would that take you???

hey mick need to know the year on your paint code some times they change from year to year. also does this paint job include the engine ,door and trunk jams. if so your looking somewere around 3000 to 3500 depending on the shape of the car . i do not tape any moldings or emblems everything that can be removed is removed then painted .i only use ppg deltron or global paint and clears no cheap paint thats why i may be a little higher than others but remember you get what you pay for. as for time frame to do one inside an out with min.body work your looking at about 3 weeks because im a one man show lol. if you have any more ? feel free to call 828-748-7135
