I just bought a block out of a SSP car and it has the oil cooler on the side of the block. My question is how do I hook it up. It has to places to hook up hoses and where do these hoses go to and is there any parts I need to buy to get this cooler to working. Thanks in advance.:thumbsup1:

You know really, those oil coolers are absolutely crap anyway. They are a stabilizer more than anything. Yea, lets use 210* water to cool the oil. Why they never use an air to liquid exchanger is beyond me. Oh well.

I would not spend the time to use it......As a rule , your oil is around 20 degrees hotter than the water

If your going to run an oil cooler. Go and buy a trans cooler and run the oil through it.

Both my 95 cobra and the 4 banger has those crappy coolers. I don't see how such a small device can transfer heat anyway. My 95 had the cooler removed because it kept leaking oil and the filter goes straight to the block now. No more problems.
