Thought the title had a ring to it. But I'm hoping I'm posting my project in the right area. This is Miss Pony's Project thread. Where lots of ideas and suggestions are not only needed but absolutely loved.

What to do, what to do! Miss Pony's Project is slowly moving but I'm really dedicated to her right now and hope to get some engine mods before Cecil in April and Carlisle in June! I'm crossing my fingers on this one.

Well, I know I'm keeping the 302 and just building onto it. The engine is a fine engine and can do a lot, as I hear. But I do not know if the 302 will handle twin turbo, what do you think? Need help, ideas. But ontop of the engine situation, I want to build the tranny, but I want to convert the AUTO to MANUAL! I hear I should go to 4.11 gear or something. Anyone interested to help in this project please do. I know my little bits and pieces but I'm no automotive expert, or a mechanic. LMAO. But, if i have to I will certainly get the chilton's manual and indulge!

- Brakes ( Got Drums=Rabestos, Got Pads=Hawks )

- All New Speakers - Car Did NOT have door speakers.
- Door Panel Speakers
- All New Suspension ( Any Suggestions? )
- New Radiator and Fan System ( Thinking Dual Electronic Fan )
- Five Lug Conversion ( HELP!? )
- Possibly Cool Air Intake (Suggestions?)
- Transmission Intercooler?

Sounds like a nice lil project, but for turbo cars they seem to like a 3.55 or 3.27......thats what I've heard.

Yep.

Plan is to categorize it ::: Engine, Exhaust, Transmission, Suspension and from there just work out the list of parts.... I need and the prices then start buying.... Once one category is is finished in parts buying then the labor will be paid for. I just need help with what parts, and the like.

If you are going for a really nice daily driver that has some street cred or are you after a quarter mile beast that passes everything but a station. sounds to me frm your previous posts that she is gonna serve as primary transport as you make the transformation as many of us have had to do. Once you decide on which path, then it will be easier to help you build her to what you are after.

- All New Fusescurious as to why they are blowing
- Battery - Optimai have heard/seen bad things about these batteries. they scare me, and are expensive.
- All New Hoses
- Brakes ( Got Drums=Rabestos, Got Pads=Hawks )
- MSD Ignition Boxnot needed at this point. unless you find a sweet deal, you can put money elsewhere
- Mirror Hole Covers ( Cracked - Both Sides )$10 on 50resto.com
- Door Handle Inside Cover (Cracked - Driver Side )cheap on 50resto.
- All New Speakers - Car Did NOT have door speakers.
- Door Panel Speakerseven though car didnt come with door speakers, it should still have functional wiring for them in place.
- All New Suspension ( Any Suggestions? ) drag, or road race? better rear lower control arms is good either way, then you can lose your quad shocks. for a nice ride the regular tokico shocks, struts are nice, and replacing bushings other then that.
- New Radiator and Fan System ( Thinking Dual Electronic Fan )electric fan usually means alternator upgrade
- Five Lug Conversion ( HELP!? ) really depends on wheels. what wheels are you wanting? keep rear drum, or want disk?
- Possibly Cool Air Intake (Suggestions?) i personally am not afraid to buy ebay cai piping with a good filter for this one.. i cannot justify spending $150 for an aluminum pipe. again, if you want turbo, stock will make just as much power. just a lil uglier.
- Transmission cooler? could save some money if your planning on going t-5 soon

Both, drag and road. depends how you drive it.. if you want to save money, get a set of 4 banger springs, and some drag struts. lower rears are a must either way..

Mwahahahaha I learn I learn! yep. and its the cheaper version. big center cap wheel conversions are cheaper because of the front spindles used. if you want small centercap wheels like bullets, then you need 94-04 spindles. if you want wheels wider then 8" in the front you need 94-95 spindles. which are expensive
- Possibly Cool Air Intake (Suggestions?) i personally am not afraid to buy ebay cai piping with a good filter for this one.. i cannot justify spending $150 for an aluminum pipe. again, if you want turbo, stock will make just as much power. just a lil uglier. I want pretty, my car deserves it? $20 for a cold air kit off ebay, and $25 for a quality air filter. either way, it needs to be cleaned, regularly like the outside of the car to keep it "pretty" which is why my polished engine sucks..:lol1:

I don't really want to "save" money. I want the good stuff. So suspension and exhaust system has to be good, like what brand of stuff do people suggest. Like suspension (steeda, bbk, eibach, etc?) .... or Exhaust (flowmaster, magnaflo, borla, etc?)

And yes, I come with a warning sticker, "Warning: Watch out for the damned claws already." Anyway.... lmao.

Good thing I don't want wide tires in the front but don't want them skinny either. lmao.

The story is the kid who owned it before, I have no clue what he did, so I don't know what fuse could be out or soon going, this kid really wrecked the car, so I just wanna replace them and just feel secure.

AND! It's better someone else's car then mine, especially if they exactually have money lmao. jk jk .... nah, I mean I know a little bit but I really need to go around the block, practice stopping at a intersection and going ... and remembering to shift lmao.

Alright, SO I know I'm going to be starting with the transmission.

Since, I'm going to do a twin turbo setup in the future and I'm swapping, which Transmission is suggested. I'm buying new. What clutch? What gears should I be looking at within a transmission, yadda yadda... HELP seriously. I want my plan complete and priced by the end of december!
