I have gone pretty much as far as I plan on going with the exception of possibly adding a Pan-hard bar.

J&M Performance upper and lower control arms
CHE Rear shock tower brace
Custom (built by my father :thumbsup1: ) shocks
Eibach 225 lb/in coil-over springs
Turbo-Coupe rear sway bar
Steeda adjustable sway bar

Just some quick shots of what has been done:

Actually the 225's are about perfect for a street driven autocross car/track car. Really nice ride quality.

Baaaaad for drag racing but not unbearable on the street.

My lowering springs were rated at 246 lb/in but were in the stock location. From all the math I could find, to have the same wheel rate with the coil overs I would have needed at a minimum a 175 lb/in spring.

I read people having problems with the <200 lb springs deflecting and rubbing the shock bodies.

How much of a difference did you notice in the rear shock tower brace? Im thinking of doing that on my TTop Hatch...

Are you running coil overs in the rear?

I have yet to drive it in anger. This Sunday will be the test.

I have 250's in the back of my car. They're awesome for a street car, and even better for an auto-x'er. Very comfortable for highway driving too. My car corners like it's on rails, very minimal body roll, but I have beefed up sway bars too.

You made a good choice. You'll be happy with it.

I can run into the very high 12's all day long on street tires with these springs. No, they're not ideal for drag racing and won't work if you're trying to squeeze every last hundreth out of your 1320 et... but it doesn't take long to learn to launch off them hard and make it work.

No coil-overs.

Then it doesn't seem it would be worth the money or the loss of space in the hatch/trunk. The stock shock towers are a surprisingly thick gauge of steel, and I don't think you will see any improvement unless you were coil-over.

I could be wrong, but that is my .02.

Thanks for the info! I definitely need to do the front and SFC.
