Stock mustang or explorer TB? I wouldn't go any bigger then a 65mm TB on that intake.

Mustang tb . So a 65 mm is good enough, even with a built 306. Gt40 p heads. B cam

Oh yeah and apparently the bolts off a stock intake dosnt work with this intake . The stock ones are like 2"s shorter and im only running a 1" spacer between intakes

The mustang TB should work without having to modify it. Yes the 65mm TB is plenty for your combo. Remember the opening on the explorer intake is 65mm, so anything larger would be a waste. And could actually hurt your performance.

Running the 1" spacer, you will have to go to the hardware store and get two 7" long bolts.

If you are running the EGR, you shouldn't have a problem with throttle cable location.
Here is what a Explorer intake looked liked on my 87...

Stock harness, injectors and all fit just like on a stock 5.0 Intake. Only thing you will have to do, is re route the vacuum lines.:thumbsup1:

I'll have to look tomorrow and double check, BUT I know you will need connections for the following: Fuel Press Reg (line all to itself!!)
PVC Valve
Vacuum Tree
