My question is, why was the kid at the track after they had already closed?

Saw this on another forum just a few minutes ago.
A few questions here.....
1 Why was he on the track AFTER it was closed for the night?
2 Why was he going the WRONG WAY dwon the track?
Such a sad story to hear. Our thoughts and prayers and with his family and friends.

That's a strange accident. Sad any way you look at it.

It's on a lot of boards. You would think as much time he has spent at that track he would know when to slow down. Wonder if he had a problem with his car and couldn't stop. He and his family are in our prayers also

Have they determined that he was drunk or under the influence of drugs? I mean, who in their right mind is going to race the wrong way down a drag strip when its wet and even closed for that matter?? Something is being left out of the story. It just doesn't add up. Sad story nonetheless.

A lot of unanswered questions after reading the story...it's a tragedy, yes. When you go to an actual race, or a bull fight or another event, it's always nice to see someone crash or get tossed off a bull, but the fun is over when someone gets hurt. Obviously it would have been a better ending to have heard he flipped the car, walked away safe, and was ticketed...we don't write the story though..

We heard about this at the show today. I am sorry he is dead but like others asked why was he there in the dark on a WET track and while the track was CLOSED! And he for sure shouldnt have been going the wrong way on the track. :headscratch: We are praying for his family and friends.
I understand everyones questions, and concerns. I have heard of some of the other forums getting out of hand with this, and I will be watching this post closely. Even though it was a mistake, it still ended someones life. So everyone please remember their are friends and family members dealing with a loss. No one that has posted has done anything out of line, so don't think I'm jumping on anyone. Just posting that I'll be making sure things don't get heated, or out of line. Thanks, Greg
I want to say his friends and family are in my prayers also. Sudden deaths are some of the hardest to deal with, and to understand.

Greg, I know where you coming from bro. I don't think our members will go off the deep end like some of the other forums.

Greg you are right we shouldn't judge anyone else.
I think everyone on here is much better than that though.
All we can do is pray for his family and for understanding.
I know stories like this are hard- thouhgts and prayers. ROBIN
