Got my "rock crusher" put in today, I think that's whats its called been a while since I got it at FFW. I don't really like the pistol grip on it but its one I had laying around of my terminator. Ill probably order some sort of MGW ball type for it next week. I love the way it feels and sits though. It's got the feel of an older ford 4-speed the way it lays back it second and fourth. Ill take some better pictures later.

Took some better pics of it. I love the way it feels after getting used to it. If I was racing the car I wouldn't want it but for just casual driving it has a cool feel to it. Kinda feels a mopar pistol grip shifter.

My buddy had a Dart 340 6 pack in H/S there in Charleston that had a pistol grip 4 speed in it. I LOVED the way that thing felt ! You must be having a blast with it !!! :thumbsup1:

It is a UPR Shifter. The reasoin for the Long Throw is because the Handle is bolted on Backwards. If it is removed and turned around, the Handle would stand more upright.

After driving it for a few miles, you need to go back and make sure that the Positive Stops are adjusted properly.

Put the shifter into 3rd gear and loosen the lock nut(13mm). Tighten down the adjuster nut until it touches the shifter arm. Once it touches back it off no more than 1?4 turn and lock it down. Now do the same in 4th gear and you will be fine.

It's only the handle. It's bolted to a hurst shifter.
