Well to give you a baseline. My 91 2.3 5 speed with 3.73's and ponies runs 12.1's in the 1/8th miles. MPH was maybe high 40's-mid 50's MAYBE.

I think we've got a big t3 that needs to be rebuilt. It's a Precision SC61. It made 440rwhp on a 2.4litre engine at 24psi. Precision charges 185.oo to rebuild it. That's all you man.

I'm hopping my car will run that plus 1/2-1 second

by the way the t3 can push 25psi before you disintegrate the turbo 23psi is safe the IHI can do 22psi for a few passes then all you have is a shell left.

You need sequential turbos (first a .50 then a .76) so you don't have turbo lag! :lol1:

Turbos are expensive, and over 20 psi of boost makes those t3 life span much shorter. One of my next purchases for power (after suspension is finished) is a t3/t4 hybrid (not Chinese, been there) and run 25 - 30 psi of boost.

I think the car is capable of a 1/2 second faster if I could drive a bit better, and launch a little harder. And maybe another 1/4 - 1/2 second if I had sticky rubber.

The newer "good name" turbos in a t3 backside can make 30 psi and have a long life span. We have one on a Nissan 240 that pushes 29psi and has been doing it for about 2 years now.

yeah the 360 degree thrust bearings are capable of some high boost. I can't wait!

That's not bad. 9.49 convert's to a 14.6 1/4 mile. That's stock 5.0 territory.:thumbsup1:
