I have seen only 1 or 2 walking sticks since being an adult, and maybe 3 or 4 others when I was a child living up north...very uncommon, and quite an awesome creature!

I use to see the walking stick bugs fairly often when growing up. I lived in florida so I don't know if that made any difference.

Yeah they tend to favor the warmer climates.
