Thanks for the nice comments.
My husband and I are lucky- we met at the track and both love racing. Seven years later and about 100 Mustangs later we are still racing strong and enjoy every minute of it!!!!!!!:)

Nice for sure! I'd love to get a 2nd Fox to use as a driver. So...you said, "we met at the track and both love racing...". Is the moral, "The family that races together stays together"? :)

I guess you could say that. I've had a Mustang since 1993, and have always had a passion for them. Most of our friends say I keep the cars clean and my husband keeps them running!!!!!!

WE are in Charleston SC right now on a little vacation in my 91 coupe!
200 miles on drag radials, 2800 stall, and camming all the way down the interstate!! Gotta love it. WE went to Patriots Point this morning and the little retired navy guy wanted me to do a burn out for him!!!!

Well did you do a burnout????

JSTA302
09-26-2008, 08:50 PM
Just a little one!!
I drove all the way here last night and we crossed the Big Bridge and the overhead sign said " High Wind advisory, please proceed slowly with caution" I hit it- till Paul woke up!!!!!! haha:lol1:

That would not be a good way to wake up, but you did good!!!

He fell asleep and I was rolling with the pups in the back. We just ate at Longhorns and Paul is passed out on the bed. I made him walk through the Outlets all evening.:lol1::lol1:

Man, I just woke up from my evening nap. Rob wanted to hit up the outlets down here, and after a long day of shopping, I'm ready to hit the town.
Lets see if we can get a race with the locals.:yes1: Surely they will give us something with a female driver on board.:lol1: I mean come on guys, we drove 3 hours with this car, so it can't be that fast right? I think someone will bite, after some BS ing ya know. LOL

No, seriously.. I haven't seen the first mustang down here in the last two days. A lot of ricers riding around, and a s--tload of BMW's everywhere. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Oh well, I'm too tired to find anyone tonight. Maybe tomorrow night.:bat:
Later, Paul

Nice pics ! Glad yall enjoyed the trip, and also glad to hear of the safe trip with DR's. I've been wondering if I should worry with upcoming planned jaunts to Viurginia Beach as well as M/W next Summer, but you made me feel better about it ! Being from Charleston it was good to hear that yall had a good time there too !!! :thumbsup1::thumbsup1::thumbsup1:

Honestly I love my BFG drag radials. I have had the Mickey Thompson's but me personally I love the BFG's!!!!!!

WE love going to Charleston try to get down as much as we can. We Honeymooned there 6 years ago, and go down every September for a Anniversary get away- My husband and I both teach and it is nice to sneak away!!!

I am a camera nut so I always post pics of my car and me everywhere- haha
ROBIN

You have nothing to worry about I take my super stangs everywhere!!!:hi::hi:

I wasn't too terribly concerned, but it's always nice to hear from other folks driving distances on their DR's. Thats why I run the Nitto's BTW since I planned for fairly heavy street use. I grew up not far from Patriots Point and did a career in the Navy as well, so those pics were great for bringing back memories...Thanks !!! :patriot:

Thanks Crumbie. I agree my Drag radials are better than my street tires anyday. I drive them to work 30 miles round trip everyday. My kids at school like my cam so I drive it more than my "stock" car.

SVT Skip- that's cool you were in the Navy- I bet you got to see alot.
My grandpa was in the Air Force, and the other one in the Army.
My dad was in the army till I was born. My husband and I are both teachers- and I wish I could put my students through boot camp!!!!!
Glad you liked my mug shots.

here's is my thinking. my stock ass turd can't get traction in the wet OR dry with street tires. it's ridiculous. at least with drag radials i can get good traction in the dry and similar to regular tires in the wet (none).

Thanks ! It was a fun time, and yes I've likely seen more than my fare share LOL ! Hopefully I'll get to share cold ones with you and your husband at M/W next year and we can swap "sea stories" LOL !!! Most of my family are/were military as well between the Navy and the AF. Many of the rest of the family are teachers in SC ( Rock Hill ), so I get to hear a little of that side of things as well, and yes a boot camp would likely do a lot of the younger generation some good LOL !!!
