T5-AOD Swap

Hey guys I have an 85 GT convertible thats a factory 5spd car (trans is long gone) and I want/need to swap in a AOD (got a bad leg so its harder to shift a stick trans). What all do I need for the swap. Also how bad is it to set up the neutral safety switch.

Well for the swap you will need...
Trans, flexplate, converter, lines, shifter, tv cable, cooler, block plate, tranny harness. Depends on what else is missing but crossmember, drive shaft, pedals, etc. The NSS isn't bad to wire. You will need a factory jumper under the dash at the clutch pedal and the small ~10" wiring harness under the trans tunnel, it will control the NSS and back up lamps.
