I walked out onto the 2nd floor balcony with 2 of my 3 dogs following behind me. Henry, being the impatient lab that he is, passed me in the doorway & went to the railing. He must've seen a rabbit in the yard because no sooner than he got to the railing, he stands up on it, & leaps over!! The brainiac hits the ground & lets out this cry. I fly downstairs, I think i touched maybe 4 stairs on the way down, & get to him. Thank God he had stopped to pee because he runs like a greyhound. I check him over & he walked ok so I bring him back upstairs. Back inside, I check him over again, he's walking ok & doesn't appear to be in any pain. If he is, it sure hasn't affected him - my brother came in & he jumped over the back of the couch too go meet him lol

When he jumped that rail, I thought for sure I'd be running to the vet. My dogs are my kids & I'd die if anything happened to any of them. I thank God that he didn't get hurt.

sure hope he is ok... they can withstand a lot but watch for swelling and tenderness, any side affects can take a few hours to show... chances are he will be just fine tho :)

How is your dog doing?

Thanks for the concern y'all. He seems to be doing good. He's obviously sore because instead of running around at his usual 120mph, he's only doing about 70 lol. I keep checking his joints & stuff, the swelling has been minimal to none. I thank God he's ok.
