Project "like-a-hatch?"

Okay, okay, I guess ill give it one more shot at owning a hatch car I like. Through a rare twisted screwed up trade I ended up with fellow board member, co-worker, and good friend "gt90_hatch"'s car. To make along story short my dad had a Nascar F150 he wanted for a dd, my dad has wanted my convertable since the day I got it, and cash talks with me. So through some trading Jeremy(gt90_hatch) ended up with the nascar truck, I got his car and some cash, and my dad got my convertable(:sad1: didn't really wanna see it go but its not like I can't drive it anytime I want). Im not sure which road I wanna go down, I was thinking Saleen clone, but now im not so sure I wanna go to the trouble so now Im thinking just piece all the best parts of the different foxes together and run with it. Its gonna be seeing some MAJOR changes in the next few weeks so stay tuned! Maybe Ill actually like this hatch!!:lol1:

Bought a set of regular head lights for it and some cobra/svo lenses for the taillights. It will be getting a set of chrome 93 Cobra wheels pretty soon too. As well as a little different exhaust set up and some 4.10's:drool:

Ok well i see, the intake seems to be in not too great condition and the finish looks possibly messed up! But i will trade you the edelbrock performer intake straight up cause my intake looks brand new! It is in great condition! I would just like that intake since i am doing a saleen clone!

Changed the exhaust out today. I have a set of Spin Tech mufflers for sale if anyone wants them. Put a set of single chamber off brand flowmasters on it. Sounds a thousand times better.

Threw some cash her way today, got a new throttle body and spacer coming, new cai, new MAF, rear seat delete kit, emergency brake cables, and new brakes. Getting an alignment done next week. I can't decide what to do about wheels so I am just gonna run the ponies for right now.

Did a little work today and last night. The car was white at one time and someone didn't do all the jams when they painted it. It was bugging the **** out of me so I started on them. I did the back hatch today. Gonna do the rest next week. This is the worst one the rest are mostly black. I also did some touching up. The white showing through was pissing me off:yes1:

Should be getting the lenses swapped out tuesday. I've got all the head lights out except the center pieces. I had to take a break tonight fat hands in tight spaces doesn't work out too good.:lol1:

Trust me i know about big hands in tight spaces!! I had to drain a gallon of water out of my headlights when i got my vert!!!

Got the headlights switched out tonight and the new sylvania silverstar ultra bulbs put in. Man they are bright!! I took pictures but my F'n camera memory card F'd up again:angry:

I also got my rear seat delete, throttle body, mass air, and CAI in the mail today. Putting the cobra taillights in tomorrow night, taking her to get lined up wednesday, then pulling the hood thursday night and changing all my motor parts and doing some paint work under the hood this weekend.

All the lights are finished up. I like how it turned out. Plus I can see a hell of a lot better with the clear lights and the silverstar bulbs at night.

I know. I mean I liked the smoke ones but they sucked at night, and you just can't beat a clean look on a foxbody. Leading to why I am going to the stock hood!!

Got the hood on, painted. Got the black letters put in Mustang GT on the sides and back. Im pretty happy with how its turning out. I got the under the hood goodies on too but forgot to take a picture.

Started the "faleen" process tonight. Gonna have to get the fenders repainted there was no black paint behind the 5.0 emblems but I did the best I could with what I had to work with considering I had to have it done by saturday. Got my high dollar saleen shift knob on too. Still got some more goodies coming. Hopefully gonna pull the trigger on a 200mph saleen speedo in a day or two.

Hadn't done much to her lately but I got a new set of black carpet for christmas as well as some quarter window trip overlay pieces. Im putting the black jegs racing seats out of my camaro in this when I install the carpet and the rear seat delete kit I already bought. Added a couple of stickers to her today though. Thanks KB for the Faleen sticker turned out great:thumbsup1:
