what do you run and whats considered safe? i've found a Federal tire and a Nankang and they both had a load rading of 87, i know that my 04 gt is spec'd for 95 loadrating.

also are there any 275/50R15 STREET tires, i've found Nitto's for cheap and i've ran them in the 315/35R17 size but i'd like a 275/50R15 street tire.. i've already got a set of 315/35R17 BFG's on my 17" bullits so im not in need of crazy traction.

In my eyes(and I do have a set) nothing in a 165/185 is "safe" on the street. My car handles like crap, brakes will lock up instantly, etc. My setup is Nexen 165R15 up front and ET Street Slicks 26x10.5x15 out back. Without the front sway bar you might as well be riding in a waterbed. I do run the recommneded MAX tire pressure in the front and it looks like its flat. But with the 225/245 on Chrome ponies, it rides and handles like its on rails.
