Finally had the time today to sit down and fix an exhaust leak that has been causing problems for the car. I had some extra time so I installed a push button start. Resulted in an enjoyable afternoon after making a 98 on midterm.

can't take long. its the same idea as turning a key except you push the button to make the connection.

Well, depending on the size button you get and where you want to put it, it shouldn't take more than an hour really. It took me about 15ft of 10 gauge wire running from the button to the solenoid at about $5 a roll of 8ft, about $5 in connectors, and about another $5 for the button. The button I got now resides in the center console where the cigarette lighter used to be since mine didn't work anyway. I can go take a few pictures of how it looks a little later today.

Wiring it up this way requires the key still be in and turned on, but I still think its pretty cool.

Glad the midterm went well for ya. That's a good day by it's own right. The button was a bonus. :thumbsup1:

I haven't really had much problems with grades here so I'm happy about that.

That's why it is wired that way mainly, just thought I would mention that for anyone that might be interested in putting one in themselves.
