Here's a shot of the old motor combo, and I'll follow that with a few shots of the new all forged engine going together...

Those are the pistons I needed for my stroker. Nice looking car, I bet it will fly with the new motor.

Thanks ! It runs pretty well although I'm now debating a power adder ( too much is just right huh ?! ) of some sort to add a little extra spice. Those pistons were sourced from DSS. They're Prolites and were flycut for my 2.02 intake valves and for cams up to .600 since I'm running a .544 theres plenty of room...:thumbsup1:

That was my under 90K original mile 86 Capri. It now belongs to an old Navy buddy there in the Norfolk area and has a wicked 331 based combo that runs in the 10's ! I've lived in Virginia a few different times. Twice on my own, and was also stationed there twice while in the Navy. Those shots just happened to be from when the car had Va plates on it. I am in Florida now Bro ! Good eye ! :thumbsup1:

You and me both ! I'd always head back into the area looking forward to seeing old friends or family ( my folks, and one of my sisters lives in V/B now ) , but that feeling would always go away the very first time I had to leave the house an hour and forty five minutes early in order to make the 14 mile drive to the ship on time ! Then I'd always remark to myself that I remembered everything I hated about the area LOL !!! :lol1:

Man you didn't have to take the motor out just for the pictures! A engine bay shot would have been fine. :lol1:
Nice car!

Nice looking coupe.:thumbsup1:
Thanks yall, it's coming along, but still have a LONG way to go. Everytime I see folks with a nice clean car on here, thats when I start to question my mantra of leaving the cosmetics for the last part of the upgrade process...
