Jack of all trades and master of none!
Looking to get in the field of Paint and Body but no luck. I do my own work with a Homemade paint booth made of box fans and heavy plastic. However I would like steady work and I know there is way more to learn.

In January of this year my wife and I decided to sell our Trucking outfit so I could be home with the family. I started doing some investing in Real Estate and have two houses that currently bring in some cash but not enough. I have also been helping a friend who owns his own small car business in Townville with motor repairs and body work. Due to the fact he never has enough going on I don't get much cash wise. In between all this I have been broking freight loads as well.

All this leaves me no time to enjoy family or friends (SEFB) and the $$ isn't good enough to keep me from dropping it all if I can find something more reliable with steady income. My passion is working on motors and doing body work. I would love to learn more about Paint and custom work.

I'm pretty good on a computer, can operate anything on wheels, can do farm work (dealing with Livestock to mending fences or cutting hay). Turning wrenches, sell parts or cars, put motors together, wet sand, polish cars......If I can't do it I will tell you I can't! I'm eager to learn anything. I also make my own chrome polish (something I learned while owning a big rig)

So if anybody has a tip or is looking for a good hand then please give them my number. 864-784-6461.........Thanks, Phil:thumbsup1:

Good morning SEFB......
Anyone ever had any dealings with Mid State Tire Distribution in Taylor/Greenville? Located on Wade Hampton where the old Winn-Dixie Distribution center use to be. They also have a warehouse in Columbia as well and they are tied in some how with Mastercraft Tires which are everywhere.

They called this morning, I have to be there at 1pm for interview. CDL position. Lets hope they have something good to offer!:coffee:

**Afternoon update: Job is a no go! Turns out they don't need a CDL driver, just a regular C class would be fine. $10 an hour and only 40 hours a week. Insurance and 401k after a year and no paid Holidays. 1 wk vacation after a year and 6 sick days through the year.

If anybody else is looking and likes the sound of it, feel free to PM me and I will give you the contact info.
