afr 225 are a big head even for a 408 unless your doing forced induction, had a guy that had 225 on a 408 and it ran okay it was a n/a car but he went to a 195 head and the car picked up half a sec in the 1/8th. if your going to go with a power adder then they will probably do okay. but you can never really tell until the car is done whats going to make it run the best

im pretty sure like 99% sure no matter what combo i go with 8.2 or 9.5 deck its gunna be a nitrous car. and streetable is kinda open to the driver... it wont see much highway if any but it will see driving around town.

It has alot on the total setup, and how the car is going to be used. When you get closer, and have decided which cu./in. you go with, let us know. Then I can give you better idea of which way to go. I fully ported a set of Jr's, fully ported super vic intake(2924), custom solid roller, in a street 393, and it ran 10.3's @ 133 NA. The car had more in it, and he eventually got it in the 9's, with alittle more compression/gear.
