As some of you may know I am involved with a group that raises money for JDRF(Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). This saturday will be our secound annual car show and we also had our first annual Dragon Run earlier in the year. I am making plans for next years event and I wanted to get some peoples opinions on it. We only had about ten cars at our dragon run and fifty at our first car show. I am looking next year to have them back to back on the same weekend. The plan is to have the car show saturday, a dinner/cruise/get together saturday night, and the dragon run sunday morning. The car show will be in Clayton, GA which is just across the north carolina line from franklin and across the south carolina line from the westminister/seneca area. The Dragon Run would leave from Franklin and also invovle driving on the Cherola Skyway. Im trying to build both events together. Im trying to get an idea of how many people would be interested in coming to the events. Hotels are cheap in the area so it wouldn't be too costly to stay over night and I can get a group rate to get it even cheaper. What do you guys think? The date would be sometime in august or september.
