Just wanted to invite everyone out to my charity car show in September in Clayton, GA. All the money raised will go to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Last year we raised just over 2,000 dollars and had around 50 cars. This year our goal is to double those numbers. The show will be at Hillside Orchard Farms in Tiger, GA. The parking lot is all paved and there will be music and food all day. They also have a corn maze for those wanting to bring the family. There will be awards for Best of Show, Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best Import, Best Truck, Best Mustang, Best Corvette, Advance Auto Parts Pick, Clayton Carquest Pick, and Top 25. The entry fee is 20$ and all the money goes to JDRF. If anyone has any questions feel free to send me a PM.
For pictures of last years event you can go to www.aapcarshow.com (http://www.aapcarshow.com)
Here is a link to the flyer feel free to pass them out everywhere! If anyone would care for hard copies let me know and ill mail you however many you want.

Sounds awesome! My brother-in-law who has since passed, had the disease. As you know, it affects virtually every aspect of a person's life if they contract the disease. When I was younger, diabetes was hardly thought of as a "disease", but rather just a "problem" a person had to deal with.
BTW, the link above doesn't work. Although it takes you to a site, and THEN let's you know the site has moved, when you take that link, there are no links, pics, or any info. You might want to check on that when you get some time.
Best to you in your efforts this weekend! :)

Yeah I have had some trouble with the site it's probably gonna be down for a while. The other night I well, lets put it this way:throw:
You really don't realize how many people have it till you start talking about it. I have met so many people and a lot of them kids that have the disease. Last year about three months into planning for the first show my dad found out he had it. I've seen first hand how it can effect someone's eating habits, and day to day lifestyle. He has almost no feeling in his feet and has lost about half the feeling in his fingers because he was living with it for years before they found it.
