Well I work for Milliken at it's Gayley plant in Marietta. I have been there for over 4 years now. I am a maintenance technician. We make automotive upholstery for new cars such as Ford, Gm, Honda etc. Well work has drastically slowed due to rising fuel costs and well of course people not buying new cars. I look for this place to lock the doors within the next 2 years and i want out before I'm stuck without a job. I make $15 an hour and will not take a pay cut. (I'm already struggling). Here i work on the machines that produce the fabric. Suprisingly they are very similar to a car. But anyway i also have almost 8 years of welding experience. I can weld anything but tig work. Which i can do but choose not to, don't have the patience. But I also have been working on cars on the side sinch i was like 15 or so. But anyway i am very dependable and self motivated. I have only missed like 3 or 4 days in my 4 years at this job and only for medical reasons. I am really serious about finding another job so if anyone needs an extra hand or knows someone who does let me know. Thanks
