Well as you all know I just finished my engine. As I was working with Darren and Jason(puttputt) Darren was fiddling with the timing chain and saw that the dow rod in my "b" cam was smaller than the whole in the timing sprocket..... So we started lookig closer at it and found that it def. was not the right size and was actually a step down dow. Darren being the engine genious that he is of course had already seen this. I had not(of course)!!! So just a word of wisdom I thought I should throw out there to all who may buy used but still new or in good shape cams and such, pay close attention to every little detail about the part. My cam is in great shape and runs well but that little dow could've caused catastophic problems in the future so THANKS TO DARREN AGAIN. Just thought I would share one of the lessons I learned while under my hood.
