I should be back up there, and we could do a Oct 4th meet at the Hooters in Mooresville. Mooresville is a nice distance from Raliegh. Are those dates you posted above that you will be in the Moorseville area? Maybe we can get a bunch of members that live close to Mooresville and have a mini meet.

Well, he is talking about a different city...Morrisville....not Mooresville. Thats close to Charlotte, right? Morrisville is up hear between Raleigh and Durham, NC. Close to RDU Airport.

Hmmm, How about Greensboro or High Point area. This would be a straight shot up I-85 for us SC members, and about a four hour drive one way; but KB and me have done it once to pick up car #44

Well, my car was not "show worthy" to my standards before, which is the reason it never made it to Mustangweek this year. Now, it really isn't. I hit a daggone deer Tuesday night. Thankfully it was not a big one, and the damage was not terrible. Busted headlight, spiderwebbed paint on front bumper cover which is now peeling bad, and slightly warped hood. Got more work to do now!:fluch:

Could have been a lot worse.:yes1: That is one of my biggest fears when driving up in NC. Nothing you can do, when I deer just pops out in front of you.

I generally am very careful at night. As well as this night, but I was meeting a truck at the same time. And I could not see it at all coming across the road because of the trucks lights until it was too late. He did come back to make sure I was alright though since I had stopped inspecting the damage, which was nice. My fiancee was behind me and she never saw it either until I hit it. She didn't say much though. She knew I was mad as crap. The next day when I came by in my truck, I saw it laying there dead and almost ran over it again for a little revenge. But I passed it up. Figured with my luck, I would tear up something on my truck. But yeah, it could have been a whole lot worse. I am thankful the damage was minimal. I was going to have it repainted sometime anyway.

If Rick and ya'll still want to plan one, say first of Nov. I should be able to make it, as long as gas isn't $5.00 a gallon!!!! I would say making it in Greensboro though.
