this is the site that i want to hear some feedback from! who knows fox's better than you all..... my mark VIII fan just took a major dump so its time for a new fan.

what fan do you all recommend? i would like to stay away from any custom applications that require an electrical engineering degree or require major cutting and stuffing.

is there something that will just fit nicely and keep my car cool?

thanks guys!!

direct bolt in flexalite black magic 5.0 fan..or the extreme 5.0 or even the proform version which is alot cheaper but i dont believe it has a adjustable thermostat like the magic does...ive had the magic for like 2 or 3 years and its still kickin and never had a problem with it:thumbsup1:

Isn't the fan motors replaceable on the Mark VIII fans?

Thats what I would do. The Mark VIII fans peak out around 4,250 CFM, not much out there that can compare.

The fan motor is replaceable. It take a clip on the blades the brake sometimes, then 3-4 screws and it comes out from the back side.

I am running a twin fan from a saab turbo on a stock radiator at 20 degrees timing and I have ZERO cooling issues. The fan is made by valeo. I had to cut the shroud a bit to get it to fit inside the 1 core radiator, but it wasn't that hard. I wired each fan seperatly through a pair of 40 amp relays. It does not seem to pull amps from the system like my taurus fan did on my other car.
i had the car out on a cruise on saturday (90 degrees outside and sunny!!!!) logged 70 miles, no heating issues whatsoever. I don't think I could do better than waht I have now.

if you are going to run a toggle /relay you can just pick up a summit fan for like 40 bucks. did it on my old car and on my buddys new one. you can stick your stock fan shoud over it if you take your time looks awsome and cost like 45 bucks

no no no, there is no way that a mountain of beer bottles on my intake could cause fan failure. i do not blame you idiots for this one....
