Is there anyone in here who has done a SN95 dash transplant into a fox car?
Thanks,

I know a fellow who put termi motor, interior and suspension in a fox. I would love to do the motor and trans swap but deff don't have the $$$ Not a big fan sn95 interior myself. I love the inside of a fox.

I'll keep the original fox interior, especially if it's black or grey interior. That's just my opinion. :yes1:

i did the swap in mine, and yes u will need to relocate your interior door handles, they will be behind the ends of the dash if you dont,

Seems like a lot of work just to change the appearance.

one of my buddy's did it in his 86...he's a member here, but doesn't post much - Swampfox. I'll email him a link to this thread & maybe he can give some firsthand info. I do know there was a fair amount of cutting & trimming of the dash to get it to fit.

i did it... you have to cut a lot off of the back to the point where your defroster is useless.. and the door handles do have to be moved back about 2 inches.. i recovered my door panels and the glue ended up failing. i then found out you could buy new panel coverings that dont come cut, so thats the way to go for that problem. i also have to redo the cluster. (glue failed there too)
by the way i bought a set of uncut panels and they are good quality.:thumbsup1:

Pretty interesting to say the least. Gives it the modern interior look with the sexyness of the box style exterior haha

I can tell you what you need to know. I have a black and gray dash that is already cut to fit. Changed mine to all black. PM me and i will give you my phone #. Just easier that way. Any dash and console from 94-04 will work. You need a 94-95 cluster for the cable speedo and the wires are the same colors as the fox. What column are you wanting to use (fox or sn95)? You will have to make a filler plate for the heater box. Some ppl say that the defrost will have to go but i have it in mine and it works. There are two ways to mount it to the trans tunnel. Cut the mounts out of the sn95 car or use the bracket that is bolted to the fox and use self tapping screws. You will have to cut the sn95 frame on the drivers side to clear the firewall. You will have to fab up some brackets also. I can take some pics of the frame. It is out right now. I have some pics now in the project forum...87 to 96 swap...only thing is that i used everything from a 96, drive train, wiring, heater box, dash,k member and cross member mounts.
