MY Radiator Cap wasn't shipped with my Overflow Tank that I won from Velocity Turbo Systems at Mustangweek. No biggie, Stephen and I chatted about it and he told me that Griffin Radiators makes the tanks for him, so I said I would go pick one up. In case ya'll didn't know; Griffin is only 10 minutes from my house!! Well anyways, I decided to ride out there today after work, to pick up my cap. I got there asked for Benji, he showed me the different color caps they have, I got a silver one. Benji asked to look at my ride. We went outside, so he could see it and got to chatting about Griffin and radiators in general, and I told him I run ALL their boxes on my press. I asked what someone had to do, to get the inside look at how radiators are made. He told me to come on, so we grabbed some safety glasses and out on the floor we went.
It was a educating field trip, and interesting seeing how aluminum radiators are made from starting out will a roll of thin aluminum all the way thought to finished product ready to be packed out in boxes I made.
A Big :thumbsup1: to Benji for taking the time to chat with me and give me the "behind the scenes" look at Griffin Radiators.
