Here are some pics of the wifes 93GT recently sold. Bought it with 120k on the clock, a salvage title and not a straight piece of sheelmetal anywhere.
Sold it to a hard core chevy guy who loves it and wont stop talking about it. LOL

She hurt her knee and didn't want to change gears anymore so with 217k it was sold.

Yes, nice. The 1st pic for CERTAIN shows the Green coloration...the new and improved version, while it seems in the Green "family", appears a different shade altogether...yes/no?
Tha't wild how the clearcoat was comin' off...only in the front, or all over? The sun can be merciless for sure!

The color was supposed to be the same but you know how sometimes the paint mfg's varry a little. It is pretty close to the door jams.
The clear was pealing for a previous repair that was not done right but just to be on the safe side i stripped all the clear. Pics dont really show all the dents and dings i had to fix, but at least that is done now.
Now it's time to pull the motor and paint under the hood getting ready for some major mods.

that is one sweet coupe. i do hope you will share your recipe as to how it came out so well. i'm all good on the blood, sweat, and some tears. but is the beer really needed? cuz i hate beer. if it absolutely has to have beer to turn out that way maybe i can endure. so share your secret for those of us who have a rough coupe aspiring to a higher level.

Main ingredient for me was a brother that has been painting cars for 20years. I Bought a salvage title 93gt that didn't have a straight pannel on it. I got alot of experience on it. My wife placed 1st and 2nd in a couple of shows with it but they were just local stuff nothing major.
Second most important thing was taking my time and pulling all the trim, even the 1/4 windows and detailing every piece. Hope this helps.

It doesn't look as good in person as it does in the pics but i'm working on it.
It looks like a 4x4 to me. I just got a fender rolling tool and better lowering springs.

Just posted some pics of the 93GT.
Which hatchback are you talking about? The 89 is sold. The 4 eye is totaled before it got out of primer. My son can't drive!!!!

That is my son's replacement car. 91 2.3 5spd. That is the one he hit the lightning with. Funny that almost all the damage was to the lightning, he got 1 small dent in the fender. I got a caved in ber side.
