I have a set of 15" x 8" welds with 5.5 backspacing and 275/50/15 Mickey Thompson drag radials on them. My car is lowered in the back with Mac lowering springs and I have rolled my fender lips till I can't roll them anymore. I am have issues on the passenger side rubbing when I go around a left hand turn and I can't figure out why. It is about to drive me nuts. I know people run this set up all the time and I don't know what the issue is. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a set of Jamex shocks on there with about a 1000 miles on them.

What kind of upper and lower control arms do you have and what kind of bushings are in them they could have some play in them causing the rear end to move

Stock upper and lower control arms and stock bushing.

it don't matter what type of control arm you use,if you haven't beat the hell out of you're inner fenders then thats you're problem more than likely.and the passenger side always seems to give the most trouble.is the fende lip still hitting the tire? or is the rubbing coming from inside with the backside of the tire hitting the inner fender especally in turns? what did you use to roll your fender lips? you may have to take a small cut saw and trim the lip out to nothing on the inside, but i don't think you should have to do that though.

Like Tim said, check the inner fender. I had to take a hammer to the inners on the 87 when I went with the 17 by 8s and 275s. There was a spot that stuck out that was rubbing.

I used the Eastwood fender roller I have and I have beaten the inner fender well in preety well. I don't think it's hitting the inner fender well because there is not a bare metal spot where it would be rubbing at. I have rolled the fender lip to where it is almost hitting the inside of the fender. I am almost at my witts end with this.
