Jerry Reed dies at 71

Jerry Reed, aka "The Snow Man" in all the Smokey and the Bandits movies, died early Monday at the age of 71 from complications from emphysema.

SAD! I loved him as the Snow Man!!! He was funny!!! And made the movie! Besides the car! I think I watched the movie about 20 times in the theater when I was a kid...I guess I am dating myself huh?!

that sucks that he is gone. he was funny as hell in the water boy. of course funny in smokey and the bandit. i would say though his best was by far playing the bad guy in gator. he was very much a 70's stylish bad guy. which is so funny, cuz i see more as the snowman than anything else.
