I went out to the bank & to get some lunch & noticed it right as soon as I got a mile down the road turning into the bank...that old familiar sound of a ford p/s pump low on fluid.....shrrreeaaaakkkkkk. Earlier this year I replaced the leaky stock rack with a new one from advance. Now, not even 10k miles on it, stupid piece of junk is leaking from both boots. Bad thing is, I'm not able to replace it myself again due to my back problems....now I have to pay someone to do something I just did myself. GRRRR
On a lighter note, atleast its warrantied & I don't have to pay for a new rack AND labor.

Maybe Glenn, can come over and help you out. He is in Conway, not to far from ya.
And that is one thing we would like to see, club members helping each other out.

Thats why I dont buy advanced auto parts anymore.
I went thru 3 alternators and the guy said well its a lifetime warrenty. To which I replied are you going to come pick me up at midnight and bring me a new alternator when this piece of crap leaves me stranded?

I've never driven a mustang with a manual rack. I'd have to do that before I'd make the decision to lose the power assist on a d/d car. Right now, its just a labor cost, so other than that, no $ out of my pocket....& thats a good thing.
