There is a red 89-90 LX 5.0 AOD hatch for sale down the road for $1,500. It needs paint and a lil attention but it is a good running car. Interior isn't bad at all compared to some I have seen. I wouldn't mind driving it around town while fixing it up if I was in the market. I am only buying coupes and 4 eyes right now or it would be in sitting in my yard. It may be here anyway if someone doesn't snatch it up quick.

Anyone serious contact me quick. It is not advertised anywhere and it is a little rough but definitely worth $1,500.

I can possibly drive out there and get pictures tomorrow if anyone is seriously interested in it.

I went by today and took a closer look. The interior is as good as any other fox bodies on the road. The body needs paint and is chipping in a few areas. Floor pans are great, body is good for the age, missing front drivers side trim, door handle and 1/4 glass but they are replacing the 1/4 glass before it sells. Heck the running gear is worth over the asking price.

All in all I have paid well over 2k for cars in the same condition.

Austin took a few shots today of the worst possible angles he could get. He is asleep now but I will get them posted tomorrow asap.

Pictures.

The 1/4 glass on the drivers side is being replaced tomorrow. Add a trim piece at the drivers front fender and a coat of paint for a good DD.

Just for argument sake:

The before and after on this car cost me less than $1,600 and I could of gone a lot cheaper without the new wheels, new tires and not as good paint.

Wheels $500
Tires $245
Paint $500
Hood $75
Headlights $75

This car could be really really sweet with some elbow grease and maybe $1,000 bucks! I do not know these people so I will gladly answer any questions I can about it.

Who did your paint for that cheap?

You probably wont believe me but Maaco did that one and several more here. Don't get me wrong, I know what a good paint job is and cost but for what they do and the price I can't pass em up. I have a few cars here with 3k+ paint jobs but they are worth it. Probably 1/2 of my fox's were painted by Maaco so they give me a really good deal. They have been painting my cars for 3-4 years now (same location) and none of them are chipping or fading yet so I am happy.

I have seen tons of Maaco paint jobs that I wouldn't allow on my kids go cart but it mostly has to do with the franchise that you deal with and what kind of deal they work ya.
