the 87 orange vert is officially gone. i now have a toyota pickup truck for awhile the mustang will unfortunately be sold due to low funds and high needs and it isn't quite suitable for a daily driver and has minor issues yet still FLIES. my stepdad now owns the car but will be selling it. it sucks but its not the end of my stang collection just the beginning

Hate to see you let it go, but you have to do what is best for you at this time in your life. You can always get another one down the road.

trading american muscle for a JAPANESE truck was plain stupid. im kicking myself EVERYTIME i see the truck now. regretting the trade of the mustang but parents wont trade back although they SWEAR the truck is worth more. it BARELY runs, my mustang would've out-ran it in reverse on 3 cylinders. its nothing but a PLAY toy that's it. MAN i wish i NEVER agreed to trade but i was under the belief that the truck ran GOOD but it doesn't. AHHHHH

Believe me I understand how you feel. I got my 1st Mustang when I was 35 and after owning it for 9 months I had a decision to make, sell the Mustang or sell the Focus I was driving to work. My LX was my play toy.....only put 900 miles in the time i owned it, so I sold the Mustang so I could get some bills caught up. At first I was ok with it, then after a couple of months of seeing Mustangs on the road......checking them out on the web I was like WTF did I do? My wife had told me when we sold the LX that I could get another one when the time and $$ was right. Well...when I really wasn't seriously looking is when I found my GT I have now, so even though you aren't happy about the trade now, things have a way of working out.
Oh and comparing how a truck runs compared to a 5.0 Mustang......I swear that since I've owned 5.0's that my wife's 2001 Expedition 4.6 has lost like 100hp.......it just won't accelerate like my GT will and it's completly stock...for now .......I certainly hope that if the truck isn't running right that they make it right.
Just take a little time and you'll have plenty of time to get another Mustang....plus you can take this time to decide what you do and what you don't want in your next one..........:thumbsup1:
