I checked the weather and it said no rain, so I laid down my centipede (sp?) seed, $35 worth, and then it storms for like 4 hours and washes it all away, this is the second time WTF. I just want a nice green lawn... needed to vent

Same **** happened to me a month ago. I bet thats when it happened to you too the first time!!! LOL
$36.00 for the Scott's weed and feed and another $18.00 for the Oriko bug killer. That was the Friday we started to get rain for 5 out of 7 days BAD!! Then had all the flooding.
I think my weed and feed is in the Gulf. :lol1:

I know what you mean, I gave up too. The first year I bought my house I had a very nice yard.....that I had to mow twice a week. No more fertilizer for me :D Right now I am overrun with dandelions so I guess I'll have to spray for them soon. I've had the better luck using the bottles that you hook up to your water hose and spray on the yard than the dry weed/feeds. Seems to kill the weeds a lot faster, they start turning brown the falling over the next day.

I think I'm givin up on seed, might just bit the bullet and buy sod. I hate it cause I have one of the worst yards on the street. only $85 for 500sf? who did you get it through?
