Would have had her running tonight, BUT i got to get a dang threaded insert for the front of the head, where the rod between PS and AC goes. Somehow we missed that along the way.>:(
All that is left is bolt up AC and PS drop in radiator and fan, fill it up with coolant and fire her up!!! Oil is already in and primed ready to go.

Here is how the finished gauge mount turned out. I think it looks pretty trick.
Even changed the lighting to small green LEDs to match the dash lights.

Looks good now for sure. I remember when mine looked like that. Now it is in the garage with no motor or tranny and the interior and dash is pulled out. Does have a 12 pt. cage in it though, lol. Oh and UPR suspension...

Engines looking good. Looks like you went with stock heads again? I ported mine to the gasket and it made a noticable difference in high rpms.

4th gear, the cluster shaft, input shaft, bearing and throw out bearing that we know of so far.
In the last picture you will notice a shiny spot; that is from the tow home.

the cause of the problem... was very low fluid level.. we are talking less then a half quart.. which took out the input shaft bearing in turn wiped out forth gear!!!
