Hey guys,I bought a 95 f150 with a blown engine.I put the gt40p explorer engine in it today,The problem Im having is that the way the plugs are angled the drivers side manifold hits the spark plugs. The passenger side seems to be fine. I was just wondering if anyone here has run into this problem before. If so,What did they do to resolve the issue.Im kinda (S.O.L.)until I figure out what to do.Im gonna try the explorer manifolds in the truck tomorrow, and also stock fox body headers and see what happens.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

You gatta use FT-40 P headers, my buddy ran into the same prob with his car, he put GT-40 P's on his car with normal headers and the pass side is fine, but the driver said wont fit, you can try and use a mustang header, but idk if it will work.

or just dont run spark plugs on the driver side, haha

You might be good with the explorer headers but might have to have the exhaust re routed.post up what worked.

if you use the exploder manifolds you should be fine with it being in a f-150 but if your wanting to use headers then YEA, you HAVE to use the GT-40P headers!
thats one of the :thumbsdown1: of running "P" heads they angle the plug different.....good heads for what they are, you jus have to run "P" headers an youll be fine.
