Cool.:thumbsup1: My aod has 3.27's from factory, so I'm getting the SPT-1 valvebody from Silverfoxtrans after I get the subframe connectors for my vert. I'm planning on installing a 2600-2800 stall lock-up converter. Before I do that, I should get a stronger input shaft and a trans cooler. :yes1: Show us a vid of your stang running at the track! :)

unless you are going to put boost on it later i'd not go so low as 355. mine has 373's and it feels perfect for daily driving, highway, and at the track. i can still get between 18-22 mpg on the highway as well. :yes1:

i'm glad you got your new tranny in. you def sounded excited when i talked to you on the phone last week. :thumbsup1:

I was happy to help ya with that little project. I'm really curious to get some feedback after you have had it for awhile. I think I will be going the same route when I upgrade my car later down the line. Thanx again for all the helpful info ya gave me the other night:thumbsup1:

from the stock tach its right around 2100-2300 rpms at highway speed between 55-65. so not bad at all.

Shouldn't be but 200-300 rpm's more with the 4.10's & AOD. I'll let you know tomorrow maybe, supposed to pick my car up. And now it has 4.10's in the rear, and is an AOD.

At 80 with 3.73's in my 89 with a AOD, I would turn 2,800 RPM's. That was on a Autometer tach, but both it and the stock one read the same though.

the gear was real nice from stop light to stop light but it sucked gas bad!:thumbsdown1:
Then swaped to a t-5 an still had the 430's in the rear!....WOW! no need for 1st or 2sec.gear at all! :lol1:

Converter and trans holds 12 quarts, I'm 99% sure that pan holds an extra 2 quarts. So at least 14 quarts, maybe 15.
