I hate electrical problems. Looks like you have a short somewhere. Did you trace all your wires.

What size fuse are you using? or are you referring to the 14 awg fuse link?

That fuse would be carring alot of current, lots of stock fans have a very high in rush current draw.
What kind of fan do you have? Are you using a fan controller?

Depending on which fan you are using,Will determine fuse size.I have 1994-1995 Ford V8 Mustang fans. They spin more CFM,Then ANY fan on the market. The only draw back is=They pull alot of currant. If you are running the stock 75 Amp alternator,You will be replacing it VERY SOON.Best thing to do is,Replace the alternator when you install the fan.I have (2) Bosch relay wired parallel. They each are fuse with a 30 Amp fuse on the battery feed post of the relay #87.There is alittle secret to wiring fans. You must ground the fan to the same point the relays are grounded.I SH*T you not,It will not spin as fast if you ground it at another point.I wire bare chasis (One of our shop services)I wire over kill.Since i have to (2)Bosch 30 amp relays wired parallel,I use (2) 8 gauge feeds from the relays post# 30 to the fans positive side.I use (2) 8 gauge grounds to the negitive side of the fan.I open line splice.Solder,Heat shrink the wires together 2 inches from the fans terminals. If anyone needs some electrical help,Send me a pm.Hope this helps.:thumbsup1:
I have a heavy duty, continues 70amp solenoid. It has worked perfectly for many years, and is very simple to hook-up. Also the post mentioning the altenator is a very good point. I think anyone with a foxbody needs to upgrade to the SN95 altenators. They are simple upgrades, and make a hugh difference.

If the fuse pops when the fan is on then either you have a short or the fuse is too small. What kind of fan, relays, fuses, etc are you installing?

The startup current is higher than 30 amps, you need to be using a 14 awg fuse link

How soon does the fuse pop?
as soon as the fan starts to turn. but if you bypass the fuse it all works good but that worry of burning up somthing is on my mind

NOT a good idea. Fuses are there for protection - they don't just go bad. Find out how much current your fan pulls on startup and size the fuse/wiring accordingly. This will allow the fan to startup and still allow protection if it were to short out.
You stated the fuse blows when the fan first comes on. That tells me you just don't have the right size fuse for the inrush of current the fan pulls on startup.

Your fan is pulling more currant then the wire can handle.Wire up your set up with ALL 8 Gauge wire.I would not even use 18 gauge wire on speakers:thumbsdown1:

listen to the crumbinator...
18 guage wire is good for controls and small bulbs and stuff... i use 12g for most stuff but find out what they pull and size accordingly
