ive got a 87 5.0 h. o. engine and i was gonna pull it out of my car and have some engine work done to it i wanna bore it, its gonna be a daily driver how much would you recommend boring and still have reliabilty for a d d

You can do either a 331 or 347, and still be used in a daily driver.

As long as your cooling system is in good condition, then you shouldn't run hot.
