Stock 5.0 Dyno Numbers

Does anyone know the average hp and tq numbers of a stock 5.0 on a dynojet or mustang dyno?

I know its not stock but my buddy's 95 5.0 put down 228hp and 286 tq, with a cold air, tb and upper lower. If the upper/lower adds 15-20 like they say and the TB and cold air add up to 10 then your close

I have had probably 50 on a dyno jet 248c and the numbers for a AOD is usually under 200 rwhp but the 5 speeds usually carry from 205-220 rwhp if the gears have not been swapped out. If you have a 3.73 or higher gear then the number will read a good bit less on the dyno.

I'll tell you,I have 3.73's,BBK fenderwell CAI,Steeda Aluminum UDP's,and an off-road x with Borla Mufflers and I made 220rwhp and 283rwtq on a nearly very bone stock car.I remember a guy on SFS dynoed his with my same mods except UDP's and his was an AOD and he put down 190rwhp.I was preety happy with my numbers as I was expecting a lot less.

I have never seen a stock AOD make 200 rwhp. That tranny kills em worse than most people know. 190 rwhp for an AOD ain't too shabby IMO.

Before the S/C on my car, all I had was Shorty Headers, Catted H-pipe, flowmasters, BBK CAI, MSD ignition, and Edelbrock Perf intake, it made 225 HP and 272 TQ at the tires. I was VERY impressed. LoL didn't expect that at all

I put mine on the dyno today at JR racing. It put out 295.33 HP and 293.03 TQ. I hope to put a blower on it within a month or two and see what the difference is, but im happy for right now.

WTF??? My stang with a 90 engine and AOD. Stock with just 4.10 gears,Transgo AOD HP Shift kit,A+servo. K&N AF. It made 202RWHP 268RWTQ

With the keyword being "STOCK" you answered your own question within your response.

We added a CAI and exhaust on a bone stock AOD and made over 200 rwhp (SAE corrected). Any modifications will very likely take it over the 200 mark but bone stock I have not seen and doubt I ever will.

Heck I have a car here with a AOD trans making over 700 rwhp (SAE corrected) @ the rear tires. It is also bone stock "with just" ..... etc. Once you say stock "with just" then it is no longer in the equation of being a true bone stock discussion.

I am not knocking AOD's by any means but sharing my experience with "BONE STOCK" cars that I have either dyno'd or witnessed being dyno'd.

Your mods barely got you over the 200 mark so I would think you could see where I was coming from. Was that corrected or not?
