After careful consideration and a ton of research we have finally found our 2nd lift to be added to the Bug compound. It is definitely in our budget, will raise the cars to a comfortable height, we can install it ourselves within a few hours, no power required, portable and comes with custom wheel stops.

Not sure yet, I can't even get Austin to walk up it. :lol1:

We saw it on the way up to our cabin so I pulled over to get a few shots. Never saw a car on it but there is an oil drain pan under it along with a few rags. Scary thought huh?

Whats the "custom" wheels stops, when it drops off the front??

Nah man we don't "roll" like that. You didn't notice the custom measured PVC pipes at the end of the ramps? ;)

That thing NEEDS a 305 camaro on it. Teal green with 1 red door and 1 t-top missing.

I got a guy down the street from my house with a telephone pole cut into 4 peices with 4 2x12 like ramps and flats. 4 poles in the ground 2 2x12s going up and the other 2 go between the poles on each side. Its seriously deadly. He loads his 1500 chevy truck on it and I can't even watch, the boards are bending and flexing, its going to brake one day. I'll see if I can get a shot of it.

I have seen some one use those "car lifts" that used car dealerships use to put the car up higher for display. there is a guy a couple miles away from me who uses one of those to work on his car. i thought that was pretty cool....

You guys need to post up some pictures of these home made ramps/lifts.

The car lot ramps are cool and if I could find some local for sale I would buy a set to do the same thing. I tried to buy some last year but the guy decided to take them with him when he closed the lot down.
