well had a pretty good weekend. went ot visit chuck (badass1993) to help get my exhuast and clutch cable issues strait. got their friday early, so early he was still at work lol, but it was all good cause I set around with the fam drinking a few beers:thumbsup1:.
chuck showed up and after dinner at hoo hoo's he dove right into the car. never seen anything come apart so fast, that is until we got to the rusty p.o.s. headers. they were so rusty that we had to wait the next day and use a zip wheel and hacksaw to cut them out. threw the new stuff on with a few hang ups here and there, but luckily chuck thought out of the box and took car of it. finially got it all on and then tackled the clutch cable.
old cable was a total rig job, had an alum quadrant on it that the cable was eating threw. we put on my new stuff and man does it feel and drive like a totally different car!:yes1:
he also rewired the rig job that was my fan. before it was wired strait to the battery and I had to use a toggle switch to turn it on and off. he fixed it up and also ran it threw a relay to make it safer. Big improvement:thumbsup1:
I have a few other things that have to be addressed but will hopefully do that soon. but needless to say my car took a HUGE leap in the right direction thanks to chuck. Any time you need more beer just let me know and I'll bring the parts, uh I mean beer.:beerchug::cheers:
