Great car for the price though! BTW, a $3100 vortech better be a YSI.

Maybe someone should call this Competition Auto place and ask THEM to explain that. Their number is clearly legible on the receipt for the supercharger install. Of course, one has to wonder why the supercharger install is computer generated and the other receipt is a handwritten job. Something is shady here, and odds are fifty/fifty on whether it's the shop or the seller.

A new Si HO kit is that much new :yes1: A YSi head unit ALONE retails for over 3K.

I've been thinking about this so much that I actually had a dream about it last night! LOL
I think the seller is attempting to inflate their price by misrepresenting how much money they have in the car. Think about it. Competition Auto is not a real small shop. THey've got some fairly major projects featured on their website. Why would they accept $8100 on a credit card and then do a hand written receipt? What fool pays $8100 to rebuild and install a T-5 (to put behind that supposed 680HP) instead of buying a Viper spec T-56 complete with bellhousing and driveshaft for <$5000 and another few hundred for installation?

OK, time to educate the clueless... I'm sure the joke is obvious to those who deal with power adders, and though I aspire to have one on a car one day, I have no experience with them.
I presume that to get to the advertized 680rwhp level it would take much more fuel than a 39lb injector could ever provide... yes? :headscratch:

In the same respect it would be just as easy to counterfeit a printed invoice if that was the case.

For some perhaps, but I get the feeling this seller may be fairly clueless.
