I did 1.5 runs with my 92 coupe before the crank snapped due to harmonic balancer and timing chain. Rockingham tho.

Haven't messed with the timing yet...... replaced the plugs with the Autolite 25's gapped @ .050.....the ones I pulled out were gapped anywhere from .025 to .060......should make a little diff LOL

Here's my exuse/reason why I can't make it...and I DID want to come!) :( I called Robert this mornin' to let him know the scenario.

My future son-in-law is comin' to town tonight and stayin' thru Sunday...he's been comin' every other weekend for pre-marital counseling sessions. The wedding is scheduled for April, so the clock is windin' down!

Secondly, I had a car drop dead on me the other day. Actually, my WIFE was drivin' it when it stopped :( This was Wed when it was rainin' and e/thing. The serpentine belt had come off, and the pwr steering obviously went out on her 1st off. I had used the car a few days prior and heard some "noises", but e/thing seemed to check out and just figured the car had the usual "old age" noises. Come to find out though, the bearings or what have you gave out in the water pump and it froze up. That in turn locked up the belt when she had it...lost the steering and the pwr drained quickly too.

Soooooooo...I've got my plate full for this weekend. Actually I've got to get the car home. I'm strategizing how I'll do so, be it push, pull or drag it. Either way...ya'll enjoy y/selves and TAKE A LOT OF PICS and video! I expect to see Quinn in a cloud of smoke after one of his burnouts...don't let me down Quinn! :)

Glad to see everybody that came out. I'm working on my pics and vids now should be up maybe tonight or tomorrow. Had a ball today even though there wasnt much good racing. It was just nice hanging out and harrassing some people!!!!!!!! I also got to meet someone I havent seen in a while and they were very surprised :yes1:

Good to see some old familiar faces, as well meeting some new faces this past weekend. We definately gotta meet up again soon. Some nice cars in the club for sure! :thumbsup1:

We finally got to make some passes with the lights around 8 oclock or so. At that point it was feeling like winter again, so we packed up and rolled out. Hopefully next weekend the track will be prepared right. We'll see..

We should plan a GTG soon at the Quaker Stake. Nice big parking lot and some good food! Also, when's the next cruise-in Bones? I hope it warms up soon so we can start doing more! Talk to you later..

I'd tell you a time, but THERE WERE NONE!!!

Yeah, the second run I did blow the mass air tube off...The 'aggressive' nitrous tune was for the old BIG dry kit I had on there...had a little too much fuel and caused a backfire.

That is fixed now :thumbsup1:
