Hi everyone,

Here is my dilemma; I bought a 87 coupe last year that had been converted to Mass Air using the Ford Racing conversion kit. The previous owner did tell me that he had to have the factory Speed Density ECM re-installed because the car was acting funny and running really high RPM at idle. He also told me that when he moved last, he had to throw a bunch of stuff away, and he thinks it was still connected to the OLD ECM. I didn't think much about it until I went to see what was in the kick panel. I found that the factory harness was connected directly to the ECM (without the splice) and the Mass Air extension cable was just hanging around in there too. I have searched all over the place for the adapter that came in the kit (p/n: E8ZM-12A582-B32) pictured below:

My first thought is that I will be cutting the connector off and rewiring some new pins into the factory connector and installing the a new ECM. My other option is that i can call Ford and see if they can still get the part (which I assume that they can not because the discontinued it). What do you guys thing I should do? If I re-pin the factory connector, where do I find the correct pins to do so?

Thanks for the help and/or suggestions, :thumbsup1:

Adam
