took the car to the dyno today:

here are the results, i will post the graphs as soon as i get to my buddies house where i can scan them.

best motor pull was 301.2HP @ 5600RPMS with torque at 323.41ft. lbs @4200!

then i hit it with a 100 shot wet kit with a very conservative tune and it put down 386HP@5300rpms and laid down 459.40 ft. lbs of tourque @ 3600RPMS.

best motor pull was at 17* timing with 50lbs of fuel pressure and A/F of 12.5ish....
nitrous pull was 13* timing with 50lbs of fuel pressure with the A/F steady at 11.0.

Not bad #'s N/A for a motor built for boost ( low compression ) Congrats on breaking the 300 rwp mark like you wanted to.:thumbsup1:

i hear ya, i am just going to give it a little more timing next trip. pulled out 4 degrees for the 100 shot so i might just give it 2 more to lean it out a little. i am hoping to get 400HP on the 100 shot alone.

Working hard is an understatement. If your at 50 psi to keep 12.5, then you need 30's. We ran my buddies car at 50psi on 19's to keep up with the mods, went to 24 and it "free-ed" up, turns up faster, cleaner, smoother, etc.

i have been hearing lately that some folks are going to higher fp for better atomization.

Nice numbers ! Mine's right there with 291/326, but i need to get the new valvesprings on there and go back to see what happens when my supposed 6500-6700rpm combo doesn't fall on its face 5500 LOL ! I really liked what the 100 shot did for you especially considering the saqfe tune !

thanks man! that 100 shot should give me atleast 100 to the tires easy, but i would rather spray it on the way home then tow it knowing it made a few more ponies. no problem towing it home from the track but not the dyno.....

what's your set up??

I'm running a stock bore and stroker 28oz 302 with all forged internals, a .544 AFM cam, Holley Systemax, and export Victor Jr. Aluminums. Of course a full L/T exhaust with Magnaflow dumps, Pro-M 76 and FRPP 30#ers are there as well as pullies, e-fan, and all the little stuff. The setup should pull easily to 6500, and possibly 6700. Instead it fell on it's face abruptly at 5500, so IMO the springs are SERIOUSLY suspect as thats the only component I didn't spec out myself, I used what they sent with them. I plan to get with Ed Curtis at FTI and see what a decent set of springs and the extra 1000 to 1200rpm will do for the numbers. The tuner thinks based on the curve that I should see between 48 and 55 more hp if we can let her sing...

well if its any indicator i made my HP at like 5500-5700 but i have a much smaller cam. the steeda 18 is like a 490 lift. so yours is a **** ton bigger! i must say that i think the car had some more pull in it but as i have stated, i wanted to be safe and avoid all the valve float so i requested he let off at 5900.... the curve it still steady so i am sure i can shift it at like 6200 and be fine.

your setup sounds sweet, that systemax rocks! my buddy has one planted on his 331 with box stock heads and cam and it made 370 to the tires. i would love to port that sucker and stick it on mine.

good luck, keep us posted once you switch the springs.
