January Photo Of The Month Contest

All right folks time for the first photo of the month contest of 2012.

Here is the deal. This photo and every photo of the month for most of the year will stand a very good chance at being featured in the 2013 SEFB Calendar. We are still working out the details so its not 100% yet but there is a 99% chance January's winner will be in the January 2013 month and so on and so on.

First off lets get the rules out of the way.

The shot must be of high quality and calendar worthy. The SEFB mod/admin staff will have final say on quality. Please no blurry or grainy shots. You know what is a quality picture and what isn't.

NO ARCHIVED PHOTOS, meaning a picture you took three years ago won't work. That's part of the fun of the contest it must be a new picture.

Each shot must have a foxbody or a car that is on the foxbody chassis.

No women or nudity

Each car may only win Photo Of The Month once in a year, people with multiple cars may win a maximum of two times.

You may enter other people's cars but they must be SEFB members and you must include their screen name in the photo entry.

Also please post the following in each post that contains pictures. Insert your full name where the blank is.

Now onto this months contest!

I know it's winter time and a lot of people don't get there cars out much so this one is catered to them.

Take a picture of your car in front of or inside a garage. As long as a garage door open or shut is in view then your good to go. It can be inside or out just please remember if its an inside shot make sure the lighting is good and there isn't a bunch of random clutter around. Mustang/car related clutter is cool. Old buildings, wearhouses, etc will work as long as there is a garage door in it.

Please submit your photos by Monday 12:00 noon on January 23rd.

To submit your photo simply post it up in this thread.

Comments or questions on the topic are welcome but please do not post comments on the submitted photos or quote them.

Please only one entry per member.

Dang, that's just it! It had my coupe, my friend's hatch, my parts car in the background, and my SN95 car in the distance. And the frame of the garage was in the picture too! :lol1:

I guess I will have to clean up the Coupe tomorrow and try to take some cool picture tomorrow. :yes1:

Ok, I went out and took a few pics on Tuesday. They didn't turn out as good as I wanted them to. Here's the best one I got. I had plans to go redo them at a few different places around town, but I don't think my car will be back together in time. If so, i'll change my picture. Here it is...

Putt, and everyone.... If you want your car picked for the running remember, when taking pictures of your car its all or nothing. So if part of your car isn't in the picture then there's a good chance it won't get picked. And remember the picture needs to be good quality, not blurry or out of focus.

In the interest of personal privacy in a world of identity theft, hackers, scammers, and the occasional lunatic, I think it would be a good idea to post a disclaimer on the "Rules" page informing those who post pictures in this thread that they do so knowing the photo could be used by SEFB without consideration or compensation in lieu of posting a member's full name. Just a thought.

Not a bad idea, but we have to get something in writing er uh typing releasing it. Silly I know but we had to pay for it last time because we used someone's photo that we didnt have premission to use. If someone doesn't feel comfortable posting there name they can PM it to me if they are choosen as a winner.

I understand where you are coming from Jeff. I just want a safe environment for our club people. Any non member can view this thread, and I would hate to see someone get hacked, or worse because they posted their name. I think it would be safer and easier to get the winner to PM you their info. Just my $.02
