ATT: The meeting location has changed to QS&L!!!!

Its time again to start planning for our January meet. Troy is really busy this month so Billy and I are going to take over this one time. We will have the meet on January 28, 2012 in Concord at QS&L. We will go in and sit down at 1:00 p.m. so if you want to arrive early to talk that will work. Please let us know if you are going to make it so we can have a head count for the restaurant. Lets get this up and going again. It seems like attendance has been dropping off the last couple of months. Look forward to seeing everyone there. :thumbsup1: Due to several members having conflicts with meeting at Hooters we have decided to meet at QS&L.

Its easiest for me to jump on 74 right here and run it on up. I usually stop in Marshville a pick my brother up. Most of the time i meet Billy and his dad in Monroe and ride in.

601 crossing 49 and on up into Concord,across 29,turn right on Pitt School RD,Left onto Weddington RD and come in the back way at QS&L. Or if traffic looks to be ok,can go all the way up 29 past the speedway and turn on Bruton Smith blvd and go past Zmax.

Ok folks, tomorrow's the day for our first Concord, NC meet of the 2012!!!

I've called QS&L and let them know that we have close to 50 cars and over 60 people confirmed!!!!!

I asked to have parking sectioned off for us beginning around noon. I hope to be there shortly thereafter, but I'll have to see how my son's b-ball game at 10am goes. :dunno:

The plan is to head in for grub around 1pm and QS said they'll be ready for us!!

Name tags will be a must with this many people and so many new faces.

As usual we'd like to get as many Foxes parking together as possible so we'll do our best to do just that. Nothing personal at all for those driving something else, we're just thinking ahead to a possible calendar shot. The non-Fox cars will still be in the group, but maybe on one end if you know what I mean? :thumbsup1:

One of our vendors, Donny and Brian(Quick85) from Boosted Performance will be in attendance. Brian in his super clean "Tapioca Terror" Fairmont and Donny in the very tricked out '11 White GT shop car that's on Boosted's t-shirts. I hear some of these T's will be availbale for purchase also! :rock:

A cruise afterwards is always an option, but sometimes the BS'ing gets the best of us and we stay put. Also, member "itinwin" invited some to stop by and see his project car in Huntersville if there's interest.

Weatherman's calling for 63 degees and sunny with a little breeze. Overall a vast improvement from what the forecast showed earlier this week! :yes1:

I really hope the turnout is as great as expected and that everyone has a safe trip to The Q!!

...and for a little perspective:

The largest meet I've attended was a couple years ago in Greenville, SC where about 24 Foxes showed...so imagine a line up twice the size of this!!!

I did hear numbers of 53 total cars with 36 being Fox's though. Please correct me if that's wrong, but a record for sure. I think cabin fever and mid-60 degree weather is what brought all the folks and their hot rods out!!!

Well....I wouldnt say dead stop but I was able to get around all the cars and SUV but as for the guy on the bike that came from nowhere. I was able to stop him with the d@mn door on my car and put a small spot over the :cussing: back wheel. No one got hurt!!! He was lucky and able to get back on his bike and ride. Everyone that seen what happen was telling the cops....It wasnt nothing I could do at the time and the bike wasnt there when we hit the brakes. But yet I still have to pay a $213 ticket for.....Not looking before lane change. Yeah.....Looks like my insurance will be seeing me Monday!!!!!!! We got 4 people's #'s that will go with us to court if we need them. All I can say right now is.....All of us were lucky tonight!

Went out to look at her in the sun this a.m. and it shouldn't be that hard to fix. Replace the door, few hrs of body work and paint. One good thing about the body kit is its rubber and the paints just peals off!

Thanks Jd! I didnt but my wife and Henry's wife were in a there Jeep. A black 300 was with them but who ever was in the green Lx (eatNhemi) on the side of the road taken pics. Pulled out in ft of the 300 and the Jeep spun out and went down in the ditch. She should have knew that her tires were going to have dirt on them.
