ok a month ago I "purchased" a new running pony that goes on your dash since mine had an orange butt. ordered it from dallas mustangs, it was even a 25th anv one since I have an 89. well I wait, and waited, and waited. Well last week I sent an email to their customer service and finally after waiting a week for a reply I called only to find out that ford no longer makes them and so my order would not get shipped. So I asked why I was not informed of this. only anwser I got was "sorry".:thumbsdown1:
anyways sorry about the rant:angry: so now I need to know where I can find a new dash emblem dont care if its a 25th anv or not, just want a nice stock one to put in the holes where the old one was.

April 1989 marked the 25th anniversary of the Mustang. As a token commemoration of the Mustang’s 25th anniversary, Ford placed a small running horse emblem engraved with the words “25 Years” on the passenger side dash of all Mustangs manufactured from mid-April 1989 to mid-April 1990. This, of course, included Mustangs from both model years 1989 and 1990. Mustangs sold during this time period also had the same running horse emblem pictured in the background of the window sticker. After the end of the 1990 model year, the running horse emblem remained on the dash without the “25 Years” engraving at the bottom.

Whats odd is my coupe was made August 90 and has the 25 years badge on the dash. I got it in April 92' and it was bone stock...really doubt it had been changed by the first owner.

Honestly, I think Ford put the 25th Ann Badge on all the 90's.

They only made two different versions, the one with 25 years, and without the 25 years on it.

Yeah I think Eric is right they put the running pony on all 90's and some 89's and then it was the start of the air bags and bye bye tilt steering during that period as well.

Well thats kinda cool. Would be cooler if it were on the passenger door seeing as I cant physically get to the drivers side door right now. I'll be sure to check when I get back from Iraq and start building on it again...
